Connect ChatGPT to Spote

Start using ChatGPT with Spote for reading and creating notes!

Note that you must have at least a Plus-subscription or higher - and you can only use Spote (for now) by running ChatGPT in the browser.

  1. Click on your logged-in avatar in the bottom left corner
  2. Click "Settings"
  3. Click "Plugins", scroll down to "Browse Plugins"
  4. On the top right (next to search field), click "+"
  5. Fill out the form:
    • Name: Spote
    • Description (optional): A markdown notebook
    • Connection (Make sure "Server URL" is checked): https://spote.cloud/mcp
    • Authentication: OAuth
    • I understand... (trust Spote 🤓): Checked
  6. Click Create

On the first run, ChatGPT will authenticate you through an external web page. If you have an account, just login, otherwise sign up.

After registering with the Spote MCP-server and once authenticated, Spote is installed. Check by clicking "Settings" -> "Plugins" (under "Installed Plugins").

Try out Spote by asking ChatGPT if Spote is installed. Good luck! 🏆
